Opening Ceremony
Jasmin carried the Serbian flag as forty thousand people cheered him on! He was smiling from ear to ear! The performances and graphics of the Opening Ceremony were amazing and the crowd was electric. I've never see anything like it! Jasmin is on his way back up to Whistler now as he prepares for the Downhill race tomorrow. He has to be on the hill at 6:30am and the race starts at 11:30. Whistler got 21 inches of snow yesterday so hopefully conditions will be suitable for speed tomorrow. I will post some pics soon! Ski fast Jas!

Mom and I were watching the opening ceremonies, I.E. the Flag carriers and the like, but when it came time for Jas to go on....THEY CUT TO A COMMERCIAL! When they came back from commercial, the US team was going followed by Canada, to say we were upset is an understatement. Also, NBC's coverage of the Paralympics stinks. Hope he has fun Sarah! We're rooting for you guys!
